The Cuyahoga River is an important river to our city. Cuyahoga is an Indian word that means crooked river. There are many bends in the river. There are many restaurants along the river where it goes into the lake. A little south of the city there are many factories along the river. Further south, the river flows through the Cuyahoga National Park. Two ski resorts are in the park.
